Alexander Woodman holds a PhD in Preventive Medicine from the University of Salford, School of Health Sciences, Manchester, United Kingdom. He is licensed Public Health practitioner and medical writer.
Alexander Woodman graduated from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) with College and Departmental Honors, Magna Cum Laude, and Chancellor’s Award. His efforts ranked him as one of the top performers in his class and in the top three percent of the UCLA graduating class. Upon completion of his undergraduate studies, he received a scholarship to continue his graduate studies in Global Health, Health Sciences and Health Across the Life Span/Gerontology at the University of Southern California (USC). He received a scholarship from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Wasserman Fellow, National Institute of Health, and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. He has worked in South East Asia and the Middle East.
His research focuses on global reproductive health, communicable and non-communicable diseases among adolescents, sexual health, medical ethics, transnational and transcultural health politics.
